2. Areas Described under Section 5 of the Accessible Canada Act
Employment
Integr8 values a diverse workforce and is committed to fair and accessible employment practices at all stages of the employment lifecycle.
Recruitment & Selection: We include notifications on all job postings stating that accommodations are available upon request for applicants with disabilities.
Onboarding: Successful candidates are informed of our workplace accommodation policies during the offer process.
Employee Supports: We develop individualized workplace emergency response plans and formalized Individual Accommodation Plans for any employee requiring adjustments due to a disability.
The Built Environment
We strive to ensure that our physical office spaces, storefronts, or facilities are accessible to everyone.
We regularly review our physical premises to identify structural or architectural barriers.
We ensure path layouts, seating, and common areas accommodate individuals using assistive mobility devices.
Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
Integr8 aims to make our digital presence, software platforms, and internal tools accessible to all users.
Our ongoing goal is to ensure our primary website meets or exceeds the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA standards.
We actively test digital updates for compatibility with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
Communication, other than ICT
We understand that communication needs vary, and we are committed to providing information in flexible formats.
Upon request, we will provide corporate documents, invoices, or service descriptions in alternative formats (such as large print, plain text, or recorded audio) within a reasonable timeframe.
Our client-facing staff are trained to interact and communicate effectively with people who have various types of disabilities.
Procurement of Goods, Services, and Facilities
When purchasing new systems, tools, or third-party services, Integr8 integrates accessibility considerations into the decision-making process.
We prioritize vendors and tools that demonstrate built-in accessibility features (e.g., accessible software-as-a-service platforms).
Design and Delivery of Programs and Services
Our service delivery models are designed with inclusivity in mind.
We ensure that our telecommunications and business solutions are easy to understand, navigate, and utilize for all business clients.
We regularly evaluate client feedback to ensure our processes do not inadvertently create new systemic barriers.
Transportation
Note: Integr8 does not operate transportation networks or fleets falling under the jurisdiction of the Accessible Canada Act. Therefore, this priority area is not currently applicable to our operations.
3. Consultations
As a Class T3 entity, Integr8 is committed to the principle of "Nothing Without Us." In developing this initial plan, we reviewed internal workplace surveys and gathered feedback from employees who navigate accessibility hurdles. Over the 2026–2029 period, we will continue to consult directly with persons with disabilities—including external clients and accessibility focus groups—to iteratively improve our digital and physical operations.
